Mark Dolan, LMFT
I specialize in helping clients navigate a variety of issues. This includes, but is not limited to, strategies for managing anxiety, reducing rumination, and coping with feelings of being overwhelmed or depressed. I also provide guidance on mindfulness techniques, which can be instrumental in fostering a sense of calm and focus in our daily lives.
In our quest for meaning, it’s natural to encounter deep-seated questions and concerns. I strive to create a trusting and open space where we can explore these issues together.
With over 20 years of experience in providing psychotherapy, I employ a wide range of interventions, from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (addressing thought patterns and behaviors), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (cultivating mindfulness and values-based living), and Behavioral Strategies (practical techniques for behavioral change), to Existential Therapy (exploring life’s deeper questions and finding purpose), Psychodynamic Therapy (uncovering underlying patterns and dynamics in our lives), and Mindfulness Practices. I believe in co-creating the therapeutic space with you, tailoring our approach to what will be most beneficial for your unique situation.
I work with adolescents and adults of all ages, offering sessions over Zoom for your convenience. However, if you prefer, I also have an office in Berkeley where we can meet in person.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I look forward to embarking on this journey with you, helping you cultivate mindfulness, insight, and resilience in the face of life’s many challenges.
